Social Security Disability
Brian Gravunder is an Social Security Disability Attorney at Hoglund, Chwialkowski, and Mrozik, PLLC practicing in the area of social security disability. He has been with the firm since February 2020 and primarily attends hearings in Ohio. He has experience in a variety of legal settings and uses that experience to proactively advocate for his clients. He strives to achieve his client’s goals with thorough preparation and detailed analysis of each case.
Brian is admitted to the practice of law in Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. His past practice areas include employment, consumer protection, contract, landlord/tenant, probate, and estate planning law. Additionally, he has also served as Guardian ad Litem for youth in delinquency, abuse, neglect, and dependency cases in Montgomery County, Ohio. He is a member of the Dayton Bar Association (DBA) and the Ohio Bar Association and has participated in the 2016-2017 DBA Leadership Development Program.
While attending Ave Maria School of Law, he was an Associate Editor for the Ave Maria International Law Journal from 2011-2012 and Editor-in-Chief of the Ave Maria International Law Journal 2012-2013. In the Summer of 2011, he was a Law Clerk in the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. In Spring of 2013, he was an extern for the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program reviewing and drafting an interlocal agreement, form county and city resolutions, HR policies, and reviewing form compliance with Florida sunshine law. Also in 2013, he volunteered for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. In 2010, Brian graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.A. in Communications Management, with a minor in Political Science, cum laude.
In his free time, Brian enjoys volunteering for the Wills for Heroes and Wills for Vets programs through the DBA. He also enjoys cycling, reading, running half marathons, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.
