Attorney:
Bankruptcy Attorney
Ann K. Hagerty
Ann joined Hoglund Law in March 2013 and works exclusively in the firm’s bankruptcy department. When she is not representing clients in the filing and planning stages of the bankruptcy process, she assists clients who are trying to avoid bankruptcy with debt settlement. In December 2018, Ann was appointed by the court to the Bankruptcy Practice Committee where she serves to ensure the process is clear and expeditious for consumers facing bankruptcy.
Before joining Hoglund Law, Ann worked as an attorney where she traveled across greater Minnesota creating customized estate plans and assisting elderly clients needing long-term care planning. Ann graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota where she received a Public Service Award for putting in over 120 hours of pro bono service. Prior to attending law school, Ann worked in the executive offices of a credit union which exposed her to the business aspects of finance and credit. Ann received a degree in Legal Studies, with a certificate in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her undergraduate studies, Ann volunteered with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program where she found her love of mentoring those who need help finding their path.
Throughout her career, Ann has shown a passion for working directly with clients and helping them navigate difficult financial decisions. Ann enjoys practicing in bankruptcy because it is one of the rare opportunities in life where someone can start fresh and free themselves of financial stress. Ann is an excellent problem solver and uses creativity and dedication to get her client’s the best possible outcomes.
In her free time, Ann enjoys spending time with her husband, her two sons and their yellow lab. When family time is not keeping her busy, Ann enjoys being outdoors, traveling and trying out new recipes.
