Bard PowerPort
If you had a Bard Powerport, a Port-a-Cath, or a Chemo Port implanted after 1996 and received treatment for the following injuries:
- Break
- Fracture
- Fracture causing embolism
- Broken pieces embedded in artery/organ
- Cardiac puncture
- Broken pieces passed through heart
- Broken pieces perforated a vein or organ
- Hematoma
- Hemorrhage
- Laceration to blood vessels
- Infection more than 90 days after implant
- Thromboembolic event more than 90 days after implant
- Blood Clots more than 90 days after implant
- Arrhythmia more than 90 days after implant
- Leakage at port site
- Dislodgement or disconnection of the catheter from the port
- Cardiac/pericardial tamponade
- Necrosis around the port
- Severe and persistent pain around port/catheter
- Death
