Dawn R. Ravn
Dawn R. Ravn is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota District Court, United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. She graduated from Moorhead State in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Sociology and Political Science. Dawn graduate from Hamline School of Law and was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in the year 2000. She has practiced law in the state of Minnesota for close to 20 years. Dawn has focused her legal practice in the area of bankruptcy for the past 8 years; coming to Hoglund, Chwialkowski and Mrozik in 2011.
Dawn’s focus as a bankruptcy attorney is to help clients in both chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. She meets with clients, prepares both chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions, and does a majority of the bankruptcy 341 hearings. Dawn has a great working relationship with the Trustees, clients and bankruptcy colleagues.
Before focusing her career on bankruptcy, Dawn worked at the state court level and clerked for a state court judge. Her previous experience included working in the areas of employment law, family law, probate, real estate and numerous other civil, criminal and juvenile matters. Her wealth of state court knowledge makes her a valuable bankruptcy attorney as she well versed in all areas of the law and how they relate to your individual bankruptcy case.
When Dawn is not practicing law, she spends time camping and UTV trail riding with her husband. She is a dog-mom of a Great Dane and Black Lab who get spoiled rotten; and she enjoys playing volleyball and softball. Dawn is also an avid supporter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. These contrast with benign tumors, which do not spread. 3-day, participating in the 60 mile walk for 10 years.
