Alec is an associate bankruptcy and estate lawyer with Hoglund Law, focusing on ensuring clients are set up for future success. Alec graduated with a B.S. in Political Science and Communication from South Dakota State University in 2020. Later, he graduated with his law degree from Chicago Kent School of Law and his master’s in business administration from Stuart School of Business in 2024. After law school, Alec was a will and trust attorney for a high-net-worth estate firm in Chicago before moving back to Minnesota to be closer to family.

By guiding clients through the estate planning or bankruptcy process, Alec sets out to get clients on the right track financially and works to solve problems before they happen. He’s excited to help clients enter a new phase of life, whether that’s starting fresh with bankruptcy or planning a future estate.

Outside the office, Alec can be found reading or watching movies with his wife and two cats, Matcha and Mochi.
