Attorney: Kyle Rounds

Criminal Defense

Kyle Rounds is an associate attorney for Hoglund Law working in Criminal Defense. He is admitted to practice in both the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and the District Court for the State of Minnesota.

Kyle was born and raised in the Twin Cities. He attended the University of Minnesota for both his undergraduate education and law school. During law school, Kyle focused on gaining experience in the field of criminal law. He spent the summer after his first year of law school interning for the Law Offices of the Shelby County Public Defender in Memphis, TN. Afterwards, Kyle spent time as a student attorney defending juvenile clients charged with traffic offenses. Kyle has also had experience on the other side of criminal law practice as a clerk for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, where he assisted the Division of Professional Standards and participated in prosecuting misdemeanor cases. Kyle graduated from law school in May of 2025 and spent a year working as a judicial law clerk for Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District in Stillwater.

Since his first year of law school Kyle’s passion has become ensuring that the constitutional rights of the people, as well as the integrity of the criminal legal system are fought for, defended, and upheld. Kyle is eager to assist those charged with criminal offenses by using his knowledge of the law to analyze each unique case and obtain the best outcome possible.
